He does have a right, I agree. And, it tells a lot about the spiritual integrity of the Muslim world the way they are reacting. The Muslim faith seems to totally lack spiritual maturity. I don't see much true spirituality, in response to this tiny church.

Why has this non-story so captivated the world? It's on the front page of all the news websites I visit. Soon there will be rioting, all over some yahoo non-denominational pastor who wants to burn Korans, which is an entirely symbolic gesture that isn't directly hurting anyone

I see what you're saying, but think about it. Look at all the idiots here who believe a small group of extremists represent the views of all Muslims. Is it any wonder some in the Muslim world, many of them in nations where there isn't the freedom of speech or press and ability to access the information we can, think this Florida freak represents all Americans or all Christians?

He's from the Dove Outreach Church in Gainesville, Fla. and he's not doing more harm than good to the Christian sector. Who would want to burn anyone's holy book, even to avenge extremists? My stance on Pastor Terry is nearly identical to my stance on the mosque.

He has the right to burn the koran under the first ammendment. However just because he has the right to do it doesn't mean he should. I think it is a very insensitive action and I dont think he should be burning Korans.

Just like the mosque...the Imam, who just threatened violence if the mosque isn't built, has ever rigth to build the mosque there.
