From the same guy who founded the Rutherford Institute?

seems odd there wasnt a single mention of human rights or civil liberties.

The BLM protests have made some very positive gains. It seems to me that the author wants free speech for himself but not for others.

Pretty common.

Right. BEFORE BLM, the only way Police could be "held accountable" was through,
  • police chain of command, referring to applicable laws and standard practices,
  • civilian review boards,
  • District Attorney,
  • State Attorney General,
  • U.S. Justice Department,
  • State's civil/tort law opportunities.
Oh, yeah, no accountability before BLM.

You fucking moron.

"Certainly it’s not leading to more freedom.
This draconian exercise in how to divide, conquer and subdue a nation is succeeding.
It must be said: the Black Lives Matter protests have not helped. Inadvertently or intentionally, these protests — tinged with mob violence, rampant incivility, intolerance, and an arrogant disdain for how an open marketplace of ideas can advance freedom — have politicized what should never have been politicized: police brutality and the government’s ongoing assaults on our freedoms."
