Is it gaming the system to have no US profits but pay US income and corporate taxes?
We're still dealing with Exxon?

They have the full might of our military protecting their business and their profits.

The oil belongs to this country and its people. That we pay them anything at all above labour and expenses is absurd.
 
Which "people" take the risks associated with drilling and refining oil?
Our employees.

So long as we back them up with our full military might, they work for us.

How many of ours sons, brothers, sisters, mothers, daughters, and fathers have died so they can keep drilling and refining?
 
playing the tax game and accumulating wealth is a personal option all people can partake of. the government (society) can always change the rules about taxes and corporations.

but accumulation of wealth in and of itself is not evil. vast accumulation of wealth is.

and the Conservative Supreme Court has just allowed these pay-little-to-no-taxes corporations to influence our elections with money they avoided paying into US tax coffers. All while crying American taxes are too high. :eek:
