Do conservatives not understand how important it is to protect pre-existing conditions?

What is the solution for those who have a condition prior to getting insurance but cannot afford to pay for the treatments and cannot get insurance either?

Do we just let them die?

Do we have the Govt pay for them?

?

Do we put the HI carrier on the hook for treatments when they have not collected $1 in premiums?

pre existing conditions have been on the books for over a decade now ... name one insurance company that has gone bankrupt ... just one.

Your stupidity lies in that health insurance should be treated the same as other types of insurance. Why does it matter to treat it like car insurance? Did republican Jesus tell you any type of insurance should be treated all the same? I guess it’s in the republican bible.

I'm not the one who was equating the two when I was pimping for a 2,000+ page monstrosity, that nobody with any sort of sense wanted...That would be the morons from your team, comrade.

But now that the analogy comes back to bite your stupid ass, the two are totally unrelated!

It'd be hilarious if you bums weren't serious...Now it's just pathetic.

I approve of your avatar :eusa_clap: Also idiot Dem's are trying to justify the 2,000 page Obamacare monstrosity by cherry picking a single healthcare reform there was already bipartisan support for passing. Dem's are incredibly dishonest scheming scum.

Lol right 20 million more people on health insurance, protecting pre existing conditions, and removing caps on healthcare expenses for a given person is a bad thing.

Fuck pre existing conditions. That is nothing more than welfare to have a government mandate to require that insurance companies accept somebody that didn't pay into the insurance pool.

Liberals don't understand the concept of what insurance is all about. It is not welfare. It is pooling. You pay in when you are well and take out when you are sick. If you don't pay in then you shouldn't be allowed to take out.

All filthy Liberals want is for somebody else to pay their bills. Despicable!

You are confused Moon Bat.

You don't understand the concept of insurance, do you?

It is not welfare.

You pay into the pool when you are well and take out when you are sick. The cost of the insurance is a balance between what is coming in and what is going out. If you have somebody with preexisting condition that never paid into the pool that the filthy ass government required being allowed to go in then somebody is getting something for nothing and that is despicable because somebody else has to pay for them.

You may be confused with self funded employer insurance which is really not insurance although it is called that. It is where a corporation covers the cost themselves and they allow employees with preexisting conditions to enter.

Are you still confused about insurance or do you still have your head up your ass?

By all means run on the success of Obamacare in 2018 and 2020 :auiqs.jpg:

Bleeding heart socialists like you can pay for it.

lmfao.
You really don't have a clue, do you?
This is why the ACA was put into place. So you RWNJ's couldn't moonshine or meth or opioid yourselves into a coma & then go into an ER looking for help once you've done yourselves harm.
If all you "fake Christians" believe that life begins at conception then so do pre-existing conditions.
Right???
You buy healthcare coverage & pay in BEFORE you need it.
You buy car insurance & pay in BEFORE you need it.
You pay homeowners insurance BEFORE you need it.
You RWNJ's need a crash course on Econ 101, not to mention civics.
What you're advocating for is the governing of some tribal island with absolutely no civilization whatsoever.
You don't seem to understand the Constitution or what's written at the base of The Statue of Liberty.
A nice history class might help you as well.
Nothing will help you illiterates until you get some slings to stop your knuckles from dragging on the ground.
MAGA!
lol

Christ dude this isn’t hard to figure out. We should not treat healthcare coverage as if it is car insurance. The actual definition of insurance does not matter you sack of garbage.

Another question for the Trump zealots.

Is this really the platform you want the GOP folks to be running on come November?

10s of millions Americans would be affected by this. Either conservatives do not even understand this subject, or they believe it won’t affect them personally. That’s their “I got mine - fuck everyone else philosophy”. Of course once they realize it will affect them, only then would they support the protections.

That’s America for you.

AND THAT"S A BIG ASS LINE!!!

"10s of millions of Americans"!!! Prove it because here is the counter to your dumb UNSUPPORTED statement!

First of all Obama told a BIG ASS LIE when he repeatedly said..
Up to half of all Americans have a pre-existing condition." — Barack Obama on Thursday, September 26th, 2013 in a speech about the Affordable Care Act
Obama says half of Americans have a pre-existing condition

FACTS folks: Half of All Americans would have been 160 million. Right?
The Obama administration even put out a report titled
“At Risk: Pre-Existing Conditions Could Affect 1 in 2 Americans: 129 Million Could Be Denied Affordable Coverage Without Health Reform."

How can that be when 49% of all Americans have group insurance... which excludes "pre-existing conditions"?
35% have Medicaid/Medicare./Other public .. added together that's 84% of the population....
Health Insurance Coverage of the Total Population
84% of All Americans have some type of insurance that precludes "pre-existing condition"!

Now for more facts!

A total of LESS THEN 1.5 million Americans who were denied health insurance or paid higher premiums due to pre-existing conditions.
Obama's Pre-existing Conditions Whopper

Finally even with the ACA supposedly eliminated the "pre-existing conditions"???
Now under Obamacare HOW many people of those millions with Pre-existing conditions were covered?
Pre-existing Condition Insurance Program (PCIP) was operational in all 50 states by the fall of 2010.
By late 2012, just over 100,000 individuals were enrolled and program expenses had consumed nearly half of the $5 billion appropriation.
High-Risk Pools For Uninsurable Individuals

THAT's a DAMN far short of 10s of millions as you stated!

Exaggerations. LIES.. There never were 46 million uninsured Americans in the first place!
FACTS that even the architect of ACA Jonathon Gruber who called idiots like you that voted for ACA clearly proved!
Obama counted 14 million as part of the 46 million uninsured...THAT WERE ELIGIBLE BEFORE ACA for Medicaid... they just didn't enroll!
PROOF! Last year, analysis from the RAND Corporation found that 6.1 million new Medicaid enrollees were already
eligible for Medicaid. MIT economist and Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber estimates that nearly 9 million new Medicaid enrollees were already eligible.
Millions of Obamacare enrollees already had health insurance

So GET your facts straight and then USE links as I've done to substantiate... otherwise you are just wasting people's time reading your unsupported, subjective hyperbole!

You mean IF they become an adult. A lot of untreated children with type 1 don't survive to adulthood.
