Disney's Reputation Jumps, Drops

Sure, that must be why the phrase "bud-light effect' was coined. Companies like Target are getting frantic, so they don't experience the bud-light effect.

In all sincerity, nobody cares if the person producing our eggs is a Dem, a Repub, black, White, Hispanic, gay, or straight; and or what they support. That is how the market is supposed to work. Invisible hands moving through the private sector and the economy, benefiting everyone.

What is malfeasance by any CEO, board of directors, or voting shareholders, is to allow their brand to willfully be tied to any controversial subject that would affect their profit, or shareholders return on investment. The intelligent thing to do is stand above the fray to not alienate anyone, and keep your brand in the PLUS column in the eyes of as many consumers as possible. Just like the person who harvests our eggs, we do not care what they personally think; unless of course they put MAGA, Trans, Socialist, Communist, Liberal, Republican on their egg cartons, and I promise you their cartons of eggs will be the last on the store shelfs.

Understand-------> it is fine for a start up to do these things, as they want to capture that part of the market to give them a boost. But for a long established company to try this, is market share suicide. In my opinion, Disney would be in worse shape today, IF there was more larger alternatives for consumers to move to, which is why I believe that Bud and Target are going to fare far worse than Disney for this debacle. But to insist as some do, that Disney isn't feeling the affects of their foible, is a lie perpetrated to make some believe their insistence on not going there is having no affect, so they will relent their not attending position. Their propaganda is NOT working, and as we can see, it is a fact that it is having an affect, even as they try everything in their power to spin it otherwise, or attempting to blame other reasons! After all, NOBODY in their right mind is going to admit that the actions you are taking are affecting them negatively, for if they do, you will double down, lol. It is like when you were a kid, and somebody tried to pressure you to do something. What did we always say? Go ahead, keep it up, your pressure is having no affect. They knew we were lying, we knew we were lying, but we were attempting to put doubt in their minds. That is exactly what Disney and the far Left is trying to do, and we should just laugh at their obviously false statements!

True, but the 25-year-old marketing "expert" with a degree from Berkley or Harvard or Yale is telling you this will bring in NEW customers. Conveniently omitting that to bring in 10 of those new customers you'll be losing 200 of your previous customers.
