Any climate change whether to warm or another ice age is a natural phenomenon that has happened for Earth's entire lifespan. Beyond the ability of humans to control.

Might as well argue against tectonic plate shifting. That will destroy the west coast long before any climate change as California works it's way north to Alaska.
