LOL. I loved it. All those smug smiles and smirks Democrats had back in October 2016, when they thought they were going to have the White House for another 4 years, were gone. Instead, Nancy Pelosi looked like she was melting. Dick Schumer didn’t look much better. Dick Durbin appeared lost, and Cory Booker looked like he wanted to be anywhere on the planet other than where he was.
And why did Democrats look so distraught ? Why all the nervous breakdown faces ? My guess is that they were finding themselves agreeing with Trump on a lot of things (they were even standing & clapping toward the end). Concurrently, it was dawning on them that their policies were wrong.
Their amnesty, open borders, birthright citizenship, sanctuary cities (opposed by 80% of Americans in recent polls), welcomes for unvettable refugees, tolerance for Muslim Intolerance, acceptance of bad trade deals, etc. etc. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Demonizing of police. Weakening of the military. Opposition to nationwide CCW law. Support of gun-free zones. Support for ISIS. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
Now, after 8 years of disastrous mismanagement, and the creation of a massive mess, we are finally about to clean it all up, and make America great again. It should be interesting to see if Democrats will join the overall repair, or will they persist in pushing wrong and stupid policies ?..... soundly rejected by the American people
