Moses, the Dirty Jew, was an Egyptian educated man. Presumably the literate man, of Egyptian teachers, knew about ancient laws and morality. "An Eye for an Eye, A tooth for a tooth," is of the Code of Hammurabi. Moses claims it to be of a deity, known only to the Jews. Anyone Southern knows that White Trash, and Coloreds, are like that, doing that. Moses would claim that the ancient practice of usury--four barley bags for a loan of three, after a year--was abomination to all of Israel. In Deuteronmy, 23:19-20, Moses would suggest the original Commandment to be, "Multiply, Be Fruitful, Fill All The Earth, and Screw 'Em!' That is the Law. Israel was not allowed usury, but screwing all foreigners was deity prescribed. It is in the Bible.
