Did you expect anything different? It's the mentality that got Obozo re-elected.

I don't understand. Detroit has been securely in the hands of Democrat control for decades. Detroit companies have been more unionized than other cities. After the auto industry nearly collapsed (someone else's fault of course), Detroit got bailed out. Lastly, Detroit has an incredibly high percentage of its citizens on food stamps, which Nancy Pelosi ASSURED us was stimulative.

How is it possible they need bacon?

The problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people's money.

    Why not?

Unions got their 838 billion pounds of bacon in the Porkulus package, which was a blatant quid pro quo for their votes in 2008.

"The $10 million donation by Sheldon Adelson to the Restore Our Future "super" PAC raised the casino owner's total contributions for the 2012 campaign to at least $72 million, all for Republicans." [http://www.lvrj.com/news/casino-owner-adelson-aided-romney-in-late-10-million-bet-182449261.html]

    What did Adelson want?

A City Councilwoman who wants "bacon" for her city and constituents and a Billionaire owner of gambling casinos - one wants something for others, the other wants exactly what?
