Desantis flaming out: -19 in recent FL approval

Why should Disney get a deal that none of their competitors do?

Because they invested in unused farmland in Central Florida that turned into a tourist Mecca

Disney provided roads, water systems, sewage treatment, power systems so that the local government didn’t have to

‘In its preamble, the bill’s authors write that their aim is to prohibit “classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity.”’

Don’t say gay.
So gay is the only sexual orientation?

What a dumbass.

Teabaggers making up fake outrage.............so they claim.......they fixed.

"No one is teaching your kids to be gay!" she told them. "Sometimes, they just are gay. I have math to teach. I literally don't have time to teach your kids to be gay."

All told, some 50 teachers in the county school system are making plans to resign. But the teachers weren't the only ones pushing back at the meeting: parents and students stepped up to condemn the right-wing activists as well.

"War on woke? More like war on your children's future," said one student at the meeting.

This comes as similar pushback from parents against far-right attacks is happening in schools all over the country, and as "nine Democratic governors representing nearly 9 million students have sent a letter to leading textbook companies decrying 'the negative impact that censorship and book-banning has on this nation's students,'" Sargent and Waldman noted.

Which ones weren’t? Exempting the Governors travel from the Sunshine law? We can’t let Floridians know they are paying for DeSantis to run for President. The book banning?

We can’t have kids exposed to those books now can we? I mean. Pocahontas? Really? Black Aviators is controversial?

And let’s look at the rest of the polling. How is DeSantis doing in the rest of the nation?

DeSantis ties Harris? Really? Harris who is about as popular as Herpes and all DeSantis can manage is a tie?

It plays well with the extreme right. But not so well with the rest of the nation.

More people have a favorable opinion of Disney than DeSantis. The same people. In the same poll.

Vetting books for use should be done to protect innocence, Disney is a queer run organization catering to queers

Gay people have a right to be recognized as having equal right as everyone else. Health education must cover all aspects of people's health, and children should be taught life's realities.

There is no heterosexual equivalent to pushing gay propaganda and videos on small children, this is a fail. Government should be pushing that sexual content on no one, gay or straight. They are too young

Not teaching about homosexuality is as much a disservice to heterosexuals as it is to homosexuals. Should heterosexual men find out about homosexuals by asking their new girlfriend why her adam's apple is so large? Is that how DeSantis found out?

So explain what DeSantis stopped that you are calling "extreme." You've still only made indirect references. Be specific or you're admitting you have nothing
Disney made a deal with the State of Florida when Disney world was first conceived. The State of Florida has no right to renege on that deal. There are no competitors complaining about unfair advantages given to Disney. Is Busch Gardens or Universal Studios suing? The all know that without Disney, Orlando would be the same shithole truck stop that it was before Disney World. Without Disney world all their competitors would go under. Disney World is the best thing that ever happened to Central Florida.

Taxes for all businesses should be lower, but government should not be picking market winners by giving one company a better deal than another. You're the extremist pushing leftist Disney over the market

Yep. No one should be pushing any sexual content on 6 year olds
WHO is?

We're talking DeSantis and Florida, not Missouri. And Democrats here want to push the gay agenda and gay porn and your racism on small children. It's sick

No one is PUSHING homo's, except teabaggers.
They exist, I ignore.
Gay porn?
Where? On FOX?
Don't make eye contact with a homo, that will turn you gay.

Just as I said, neither you nor Richard-H can describe "Don't Say Gay" and what it says, you don't know, you're a couple of racist losers. Democrats attack DeSantis with Trump, but neither of you can describe how his policies aren't pro-freedom. I'm a libertarian, I would notice if he was going right wing. I don't give a shit what he says, it's about the policies he enacts, and I've found him solidly libertarian for those

Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.

In other words, “instruction . . . on sexual orientation or gender identity” — terms not defined in the law – is completely prohibited for students up to the third grade. Beyond the third grade, such instruction is permitted only to the extent that it is “age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

The vagueness of the law raises numerous questions. Does it mean, for example, that an educator can use books with LGBTQ+ characters so long as the discussion of those books does not focus on their sexual orientation or gender identity?

SO.......................................what teacher has EVER been accused of that?

LINK?

And so your argument is they aren't teaching sex to small children, only eight year olds. Which is exreme to you, not teaching sexual content to eight year olds. You're as fucked up and racist as Richard-H .

Eight year olds are small children and there is ZERO heterosexual content taught to them either. You're a pervert as well as a racist
