This is for all the forum idiots who think Mueller can charge Trump with obstruction of justice:
Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz batted down the merit of obstruction of justice charges aimed at President Donald Trump for what he said was exercising his constitutional power and authority regarding the firing of then-FBI Director James Comey and instructing the Department of Justice what to and not to investigate.
“If Congress were to ever charge him with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional authority under Article 2, we’d have a constitutional crisis,” he explained. “You cannot charge a president with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional power to fire Comey and his constitutional authority to tell the Justice Department who to investigate, who not to investigate. That’s what Thomas Jefferson did. That’s what Lincoln did. That’s what Roosevelt did. We have precedents that clearly establish that.”
FOX & FRIENDS REALLY---That is a Sean Hannity sponsored program on FOX & Sean Hannity is Trump's physco babble interpretor and political adviser. This is how they reported 3 Federal Grand Jury indictments and one guilty plea.
Furthermore they have established INTENT--I know you've heard that word before. Trump in one of his tweeter storms over the weekend admitted that he knew Flynn had lied to the FBI when he pressured Comey to drop the investigation. That is INTENT to commit Obstruction of Justice.
Analysis | Did Trump’s tweet about Michael Flynn’s guilty plea just admit something it shouldn’t have?
Trump is tweeting himself to death.
Trump's attorney's are in full panic mode. Mueller is required to hand over all evidence--sworn testimony, basically everything he is receiving in order for Trump's lawyers to mount a defense.
They've had a good look at Mueller's evidence and now realise they don't have a defense. So they're only option is to attack the Articles of Impeachment that are listed in the Constitution. Actually stating that Trump is the supreme law enforcement officer in this country and cannot be charged with Obstruction of Justice. (Well they might want to talk to Richard Nixon about that one)--
Analysis | Trump’s lawyer says a president can’t technically obstruct justice. Experts say that’s fanciful.
Just last week, Republican Senators stated that Trump had pressured them over this last summer about the Russian investigation, (while he was under investigation) which included the Senate Republican intelligence committee chairman on the Russian investigation, and including Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell.
Trump Pressed Top Republicans to End Senate Russia Inquiry
But only Trump is STUPID enough to get on National T.V. and admit to Obstruction of Justice, during an NBC interview with Lester Holt.
A good movie to watch right now is "All of the Presidents men."
