U.S.A.
The U.S. Attorney General is going to be sending a strong and powerful legal message to the Supreme Court of the United States to once and for all do away with bans on same-sex marriage. After all, they have already struck down sodomy laws in the case of Lawrence vs. Texas where the SCOTUS, in effect, made sodomy legal in all states of the U.S.A. And Yes, that includes even the Red ones, imagine that!

KUDOS to General Holder! He is to be COMMENDED for taking that action from the U.S. Department of Justice and not a moment too soon.

Holder: DOJ prepared to urge Supreme Court to strike down gay marriage bans ? LGBTQ Nation

So the Justice department thinks they should be able to abdicate their responsibilities to uphold the law.

So much for justice in this country.

Considering the federal law that didn't recognize gay couples federally has been struck down, there's no law left for the Justice Department to defend.

Then they have no interest and any attempts they make to influence the justices is an act of injustice to the States.
