The deniers version of ALEC:

Capitalism vs. the Climate
In truth, several members of the mostly elderly audience seem to doze off while the temperature graphs are projected. They come to life only when the rock stars of the movement take the stage—not the C-team scientists but the A-team ideological warriors like Morano and Horner. This is the true purpose of the gathering: providing a forum for die-hard denialists to collect the rhetorical baseball bats with which they will club environmentalists and climate scientists in the weeks and months to come.

sounds like  our denialists

I wish I could have been there. It sounds like it was a good time.

I'm not sure it is fair to label people 'deniers' when they apparently do not understand the most basic elements of what is being discussed.

Actually their lack of understanding, or, more accurately in most cases, their complete inability to understand due to congenital retardation, is a big part of what makes them deniers, in addition to the deceptive propaganda and misinformation they've been subjected to by their puppet masters in the fossil fuel industry. Denying reality is actually the hallmark of the rightwingnut segment of the population.

No one called you a "denier," Nitwit.

Also, do you think you can manage even a single post that doesn't resort to ad hominem arguments? That's a sure sign of someone who has no facts or logic at his disposal.

Who here believes that the Heartland documents exposed by climate scientist Peter Gleick - even those that many believe Gleick to have forged - are in fact evidence of Heartland's conspiracy to push a disinformation campaign concerning global warming at the behest of their fossil fuel masters?

I DO! I DO! I DO!

Same folks running these disinformation campaigns as ran the big tobacco companies campaigns to discredit the scientific studies on the effects of smoking tobacco.

All we know for certain is that Socialism and central planning are the only answers to Global WarmerCoolering Climactic Change Googly Moogly

I seem to remember that they had lab experiments on mice how come you can't do a lab experiment showing a 200ppm increase in CO2, we'll even lend you the mice. Sure, it might be terrible to see the little mice fried or melted or swept away in a Cat 5 hurricane in the experiment, but it's a small price to pay

Which is why most Conservative governments confirm AGW, of course.

Seriously, Frank - do you ever post anything that makes a lick of sense, even to you?

or they forcefully block out new ideas (the definition of a conservative)

much like the Koch's invest heavily into a school or institute to then write *cough* "position" papers but put them forward as objective or defend indefensible positions because they have the name of the school or institute to stand behind.

If they did not deny climate change, they would blame it on Obama.
