It's the Charlotte City Council. And even if every one of them are democrats, it's still not THE Democrats pushing for the ban.

Last time I checked it was local dems doing this, how about we wait to comment on other dems when they actually have a reaction to this.
Of course they will probably do nothing to stop the city of Charlotte, but how about we wait to see what they actually do.

There's no need to wait to see. They're already doing it. OWS will not be tolerated.

Please show me where anyone other than local dems are pushing to block them from the convention...I will be waiting.

Last night, the protesters at Occupy D.C. marched on a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser in downtown Washington, D.C. The protesters were taking aim at the role of Big Money in politics, as the fundraiser “was charging from $5,000 to $75,000 for a seat,” certainly a price tag out of the range of the ordinary citizen.
