Funny thing is how snowflakes on this board have tried hard today to claim that DACA was never that big of a deal to them or Democrats.

No one has claimed that, dope.

Why do Americans have to BUY Democrat support to ensure our sovereignty, secure our borders, protect American citizens, and to enforce the Rule of Law that falsely CLAIM to already support?

They are already being paid a huge salary and incredible perks to represent the American people; yet, they are working for / doing more to help non-citizens - to include violent, criminal illegals, than they are Americans.

Will the dems fall for it? For all voters the econ is a more important issue, and HC is as important as immigration, and the dems own that issue after Trumpcare's implosion ... and on immigration, there's no consensus on what should be done. Only the gop wants a wall.

Snowflakes claim DACA is not worth $5.6 Billion (which they have already wasted with their Obstruction / Govt shutdown) / opening up the govt.

Evidently DACA is NOT that important to them since they / Pelosi has rejected DACA a 2nd time.

As the old saying goes, three things in life are certain; death, taxes, and Democrats rolling over to rightwing pressure. Spineless and always looking for any and every reason to cave, this past week congressional Democrats did exactly that, as they forfeited any leverage they had on DACA. They voted to throw the 800,000 DACA recipients under the bus, giving them the legislative middle finger. Despite all the huffing and puffing over ‘protecting the Dreamers,’ when the smoke cleared, Democrats voted for a spending bill to re-open the government that made absolutely no mention of DACA and included nothing for the millions of Dreamers currently residing in the country.

Trump offered them a three year extension. The SCOTUS just gave them a year.

I doubt and hope Pelosi doesn't tie this to Dreamers.

Trump shut down the gummit when Coulter berated him over the wall. The shut down is because of that.

If the dems give in at all., on anything, they run the risk of giving into holding the gummit hostage over an issue that lacks support of the maj ... in cong and even the senate, not to mention voters. That has very bad Precedent going for it.

But nearly half of voters see immigration as one of the top three issues, although there's no consensus of how to improve it. If the dems can find a compromise with Trump that a maj would be ok with, and if the gummit opened before the compromise was passed .... I don't see how even the most left wing of the dems could find really serious fault.

My thread was that the Dreamers are a losing issue when tied to shutting down the gummit, but reading was never something you were good at.

Democrats / Pelosi have already wasted about the same amount Trump is asking for the wall in their obstruction / shutdown. They are saying DACA is not worth $5.6 Billion. Democrats are showing that hurting Trump's chances in 2020 is worth everything they are doing to the nation through their shutdown right now.

Democrats promised DACA ... twice ... and now have walked away from it .... TWICE.
