Democrats Besides Hillary?

.

a crowded democratic field would help Hillary, otherwise she'll come across as either annoyted or stale ... and choosing someone else has happened before and with a positive outcome.

Hillary isn't going to run; she's too old to stand up to the job stress, and she knows it. Warren is a possibility, Biden probably not.

The Dem spin docs made an attempt to pump up Infanticide Barbie here in Texas for a few weeks, but she is so obviously a shallow sociopath they have given up on that, and she couldn't even win her own district again, much less get elected Governor; she's definitely a has been.

This is how Righties refer to pols these days, and then they wonder why we laugh at them.

I'm not a rightie, far from it.

Democrats accuse the GOP of having a weak field of potential candidates for 2016. But what about Dems outside of Hillary? She has name recognition but other than that not much. Who is the big Democrat juggernauts? Their field is no stronger than GOP field in 2016. Also, will the Democrats ever nominate a White male for President ever again? I don't see it. The Democrats have been pushing white people out of their party for a generation now. They like to harp on GOP as a small tent, looks to me like Democrats are a small tent. Only room for left wing extremist.

Having a "weak field" in 2014, for an election in 2016, may be a big deal for those that have little else to serve their need to mentally masturbate over elections.

Don't be a Statgesundheit: Get a life!

True. National name identification is merely a dozen or so minutes of national commercial time away these days, so it's not a big deal at this point in time. Almost nobody had ever heard of the Chicago Machine hack Obama until the media machine kicked in, just a short time before the primaries started.

Hillary got tossed under the bus by her own Party. Her year was 2008, and she got submarined.

Hillary paid a price for her vote on Iraq. She could not turn back the momentum of the Obama campaign......neither could Mccain

That was most certainly a part of it, but it's clear racism was the main factor, and the corruption in the primaries versus viva voce caucus shenanigans in the primaries along with the 'Super Delegate' swing votes are the primary reasons she went down. Obama got a big percentage of those votes for merely being 'black', not because of Hillary's Iraq vote. There were plenty of better and more qualified black candidates for the Party to have chosen from and marketed, but they deliberately chose a black candidate from the most corrupt Democratic machine in American history. The DNC did that for a reason, and we know why. I'm not a Clinton fan, they're sleazy neo-liberal sellouts, but it's obvious why she lost, regardless of partisan innernetz hackery and hubris.

Thing is, even if Hillary had been black (and still putatively a woman) Obama would have gotten the nomination. In the Democrat war on women black counts for more than mere gender!

I doubt that, but black women represent the best talent pool of black candidates, especially compared to the DNC's usual buddies like Sharpton and Jackson, et al. It's a shame Barbara Jordan got tossed under the bus by her Party back in the 80's; she would have been a great candidate, and a real liberal to boot. there aren't any of those in leadership positions in the Democratic Party any more, and haven't been for going on a couple of decades now.

.

Hilary has the same problem in 2016 she had in 2008, winning or just getting past Iowa.

I think a huge problem for the Ds perhaps not in 2016 but further out is congress using Obama to take the blame for the errors of the congressional leadership in both houses. Fairly obviously using the black guy in the White House as the scapegoat for:

Pelosi's miswriting of parts of Obamacare and then making that the unofficial name of the bill.

Reid screwing around on immigration reform to avoid defeat in 2010 will greatly increase the racist antipathy between hispanics and blacks that has already been fed by the Zimmerman fiasco. And that will be true no matter how the executive order on immigration ends up being worded.
