Israel has yet to confirm or deny its involvement in the assassination of senior Hamas figure Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai, but there are those who are already taking advantage of the mysterious affair in order to make a profit.

The Irish Times reported Wednesday that the sales of Mossad-themed T-shirts have risen tenfold since the Israeli spy agency was linked to last month’s operation.

Eran Davidov, marketing manager of a top mail order company selling Israeli-made products, said his company had been overwhelmed by demand since launching a special “Show off your Mossad and Israeli pride” campaign earlier this week, directed mainly at Jewish communities in the Diaspora.

The most popular T-shirts include the writing “Don’t Mess with the Mossad” alongside a picture of a pistol. Another garment has the word Mossad with the letter “o” replaced by a circular target used on a rifle range.

According to Davidov, since the launch of the marketing campaign the company has received dozens of e-mails and blog messages expressing pride in the ability of Mossad to strike with impunity throughout the Arab world.

yea, safer for jews to brazenly do what Aryans only attempted. Don't worry, shlomo, I'm sure swastika gear was all the rage in Germany at one time too.

Yeah, I hear these are all the rage:

Even those here who have a really hard time with capital punishment are glad he is with his ancestors. The man was the mid easts version of Ted Bundy, being responsible for the murder of hundreds of innocents.

If the Mossad hires Dexter Morgan, I think it would be a good deal for both of them.

You understand, of course, that so far we have seen no evidence that Israel was responsible for the execution on Mabhouh. All we've learned so far from what passes for a police investigation in Dubai is that lots of people travel to Dubai on fake passports in order to commit crimes such as murder and illegal sales of weapons to terrorists and that the police chief can count to 26. The presumption by Europeans and even Arabs that Israel must have been responsible is based on their belief that members of Fatah who would have wanted to kill him and dissidents in Hamas who are tired of being ordered by Hamas' Syrian and Iranian masters to use the people in Gaza as cannon fodder in order to advance Syrian and Iranian national interests would not have the competence to have managed the execution and gotten away without leaving any evidence. Both the Europeans and Arabs seem to believe that if something was done really well, it couldn't have been an Arab who did it.

It's rather obvious. Your boy Avigdor Lieberman is just dying to claim responsibility for it.

She looks like a Hamas operative to you, eh?

Except, Lieberman is a marginal figure in Israel. You really do not know much about Israel.
Israel is where Islamos go to to blow themselves up like suicide monkees.

In fact, except for the presumption that Arabs lack the competence to have pulled this off, all the evidence reported in the media points to this being a hit by Palestinians.

First, two Palestinians were reportedly arrested in Jordan and extradited to Dubai in connection with this investigation and Dubai has reportedly claimed they have evidence that members of Hamas gave Mabhouh's executioners his travel schedule and have asked to interrogate a number of them.

Second, the UK and Ireland are hotbeds of anti Israeli sentiment and sympathizers, so they are natural places for Palestinians to go for assistance in obtaining European passports and perhaps non Arab operatives. It would be much harder for Israelis to obtain that kind of help in those places.

Finally, since all you would need to forge passports would be one prototype older passport that did not contain biometric information and personal data on the individual whose identity you wanted to use, so it makes much more sense for Palestinians to have used the Identities of Israelis with dual citizenship that for Mossad to have done so.

Clearly, the evidence released so far points to this being done by Palestinians, yet it is not strong enough evidence to overcome the apparently widespread conviction, perhaps even shared by you, that Arabs simply wouldn't have had the competence to have pulled this off.
