Define 'democracy'.....

well how would you define 'democracy'?

 

Having one more choice than the Russians had under Stalin.

 

There's this thing I like to use called a dictionary. You should try it.

 

Mob Rule. Mob Tyranny.

Define Establishment of Justice.

 

I believe Thomas Jefferson defined it best:

“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

 

We are a Republic, not a Democracy. Define the difference, its important.

 

Isn't it amazing how so many don't understand this point nor the differences between the two?

 

democracy is a form of government where-by unethical people, using lies, misinformation and fear tactics, can scare millions of voters into voting for bad people and bad laws

 

There are Powers none of us should have over each other.

 

Are there any non representative democracy's? aka republic or parlimintarian types of democracy's?

I do not think there is any true democratic government on earth.
Of course democratic government is an oxymoron if you think about it.
