A year or two ago, one of my students came in a bit late and explained he had just put down a moose with that wasting disease. It was suffering horribly, staggering in tight circles on the verge of the road, seeming not to see, scared, stumbling to its knees at times. It wasn't hunting season, so he went home for his rifle and called the Warden. They put it down. He said the moose was skin and bones, hair coming out in huge patches.

A former Monsanto biologist came out with a report on this years ago. He explained on how there is a connection between GMO and chronic wasting in the deer. Brains turn into sponge. They have altered the balance of nature and are killing off the microbes that would generally combat these things naturally. Iowa University did a study on this in the last few years. Not that it probably got out too far as GMO is big enough money to stop any criticism that would affect their bottom line.

It was discovered back in 1967. So far, no cases have affected humans to date. Not saying it wouldn't, but it's been 52 years, and nothing so far.
