Did republicans support massive government funded green-energy programs? Is it the Republicans that have green-energy programs as part of their political platform?

No, they don't. So it doesn't matter what Jeff or Paulette donated to. Makes no difference to the story. The reason this happened, is because of dumb left-wing government hand outs.

Additionally, just read though the article. What do you see as their motivation all the way through? Tax cuts, tax deductions, tax credits and so on. They even setup a fake company to get green energy tax cuts.

And let's ask the question, shall we... why does a company selling a profitable product, even require tax cuts to survive? Because of course it isn't a profitable product. You take away those tax cuts, deductions, and credits, and the entire solar industry would cease to exist in a year.

Government directly levies taxes right on gasoline and oil products, and it is still an exceptionally profitable product, and always will be.

Subsidized? No. Both properties are investment properties.

Paycheck from the power company? I don't work for the power company.

Do I sell power back to the utility? Yes. But at a lower rate than they purchase off the grid. Better deal for the "poor people."

They also don’t understand how bulk electric systems work. A power grid needs to maintain balance and be able to ramp up generation when demand kicks in, and one cannot simply turn on the wind or make it sunny when we need more power.
