Republicans in Congress: Do you actually think that in the end the ACA will be defunded? The Democrats are pretty firm in preventing that from happening, so it seems that once this whole Shutdown is over you are just going to be in a worser state with your constituents. It has come to a point where the health of the economy is more important than this disagreement over free healthcare. Republicans should just give in and wait to fight another day.

The one flaw here is that Obamacare will fail on it's own regardless of what the Republicans do to it. Now that they have shifted their gaze towards the debt ceiling, they will have more leverage over the Democrats.

They have already dropped defunding Obamacare as part of any deal the republicans have made several offers which have had nothing about defunding Obamacare in them all have been rejected by President Obama and the Senate.

Shifted their gaze toward the debt ceiling? Wht a crock. They started out trying to use the debt ceiling as a tool to get Obmacare defunded....then delayed. To use words you will understnd, the raising of the debt ceiling IS NOT AN ARROW IN ANYONE'S QUIVER. It is wanted by both parties. It is needed by the nation. Pretending that it is one of the things to concede to the Democrats is RETARDED THINKING.

actually all you guys are wrong.
sotoreo's goal is to destroy the repulican party and use whatever leverage he can to do it.
the pasting you dems took in 10 and never got back has left a real bad taste in your leaders mouth.
he wants the house, senate, and supreme court so he can turn this country into another kenya.
