D-Sen McCaskill accused of lying in attack on Jeff Sessions, Lied Before Congress -Met With Russians

"Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., who fired off one of the harshest criticisms of Attorney General Jeff Sessions over his meetings with a Russian ambassador, faced blowback herself Thursday when the senator's own tweets contradicted her claim that she never had met the ambassador.

“A good prosecutor would have known these facts were relevant to the questions asked,” McCaskill said in a statement Thursday morning. "It's clear Attorney General Sessions misled the Senate — the question is, why? I’ve been on the Senate Armed Services Committee for 10 years, and in that time, have had no call from, or meeting with, the Russian ambassador. Ever.

"That’s because ambassadors call members of Foreign Relations Committee," McCaskill added. "Attorney General Sessions should resign.”

McCaskill's statement that she never met with Russia's ambassador was immediately challenged by Charles C. Cooke, editor of National Review Online, a conservative news site. Cooke noted that McCaskill had tweeted about a 2013 meeting with Russia's top diplomat in the U.S."


Guess when they punish Sessions in this snowflake witch hunt they are going to have to punish McCaskill as well, huh, snowflakes?

Now come the justifications for why it is ok for Liberals / McCaskill to 'lie before Congress' but not for Republicans?!

On March 16, 2011, McCaskill told reporters that she was "embarrassed" about revelations that her office had used taxpayer money for the senator's use of a private airplane she co-owned with her husband and friends. According to a government audit, the plane was used for 90 flights taken between Washington, D.C., and her home in suburban St. Louis, as well as to numerous sites around the state of Missouri. Politico reported that McCaskill had failed to pay more than $280,000 in property taxes on the plane and was planning to sell it.

RECUSE herself? Oh, hell no. The punishment for Perjury is not 'recusing oneself. Of course under Obama, as Holder and Obama demonstrated, there was no punishment for Perjury. ;p
