And as Snopes points out the headline was distorted.

He's not a lawyer so I'll cut him some slack. As compared to the fucking morons out there who say it is up to Kavanaugh to prove his innocence and that Ford need not provide any evidence to back up her story.

You know, like stating there were 4 people at the party with her> And not one has said they were at the party. Or you know providing a location for the so called attempted rape or even a time frame.

The liberal news web site Daily Kos reported on the interview with a headline reading “Franklin Graham: Attempted rape not a crime. Kavanaugh ‘respected’ his victim by not finishing,” which was a paraphrase of Graham’s comments and possibly some social media users mistakenly believed that the headline reflected Graham’s remarks verbatim, which was not the case:

Got to love it. Some one that does not have even a clue about when, where, who was there, how she got home, never said anything to anyone until 2012 then claims therapist notes are wrong is believable.

Yet a man that has over hundreds of witnesses to his sterling character, not one even hinting at any impropriety. Has four witnesses saying it never happened. Has had six background checks. Is completely unbelievable.

Even had a woman come forward saying she had heard it rumored around school until it was pointed out that it was never talked about until 2012, then walked back her testimony.

Yeah got to love the partisan politics in play here.

I guess Mr. Graham never heard of the idea of 'intent.'
Law enforcement utilizes the concept of intent on a daily basis for handing cases to prosecutors, prosecutors that prepare & win court cases based on evidence of intent when, "no crime" was committed.
Mr. Graham should just stick to his Jesus job & stay out of the political & LE arenas.

P.S. What that woman is guilty of now should be a crime. If something really did happen all them years ago, back then is when it should've been addressed and dealt with, not three decades later which would only give a rat the opportunity to accumulate even more victims. Silence only enables therefore making you an accomplice to whatever law breaking activity continues to go on.
