While most states are begging Amazon to put their headquarters in their state to drastically improve their local economy, Crazy Eyes Cortez is busy trying to chase them out of New York, one of two places they decided to put their headquarters.

She says that they have been given too many perks and not paying enough taxes as the infrastructure in New York crumbles.

So I guess with or without Amazon, the infrastructure in New York will crumble.

You give a corp a tax break to come to your city. Even with the tax breaks
they are still giving you tax money that you don't presently have. In addition,
they hire 10,000 workers who all will pay taxes. That income for them will then be put back into the city improving the worth of many other businesses
who will then pay more in taxes to the city.

"You gotta spend money to make money." You give to the Corp and they
provide you more income for the entire community.

You count even count how many times New York City has fucked themselves
and the entire State of New York. It's a mass exodus out of that shithole.

I really wanted Amazon to locate in Youngstown, Ohio which would have been ideal. Near the border of two major states, major highway access, an efficient city bus system.

In this case it is a brain dead stupid complaint. The tax breaks were to induce Amazon to open a center in New York which will create thousands of jobs and benefit the local economy. Without the tax breaks Amazon would have chosen another location and that would have brought no benefit to New York. The lesson here is that she is either brain dead stupid or just another cynical politician seeking to exploit the ignorance and bigotry of voters for her own benefit.

That $32.7 trillion is how much would be spent over ten years.

We currently spend $3.3 trillion a year on health care, and climbing. TrumpCare is hitting all new records in cost, with no relief in sight. Over ten years, that is at least $33 trillion, if not more.

So please explain why her math is not sound.
