We've had a super bad respiratory virus going around, and it struck many of my family members, but they all recovered, and only one got tested because she had to in order to see her primary physician. She was negative of course, but it got her 87 year old friend also. They both recovered just fine, but they still are coughing weeks afterwards. Same here, where as we got the thing also. It was no fun, but everybody got better quick.

What a farce. Maybe some of this rich guy's friends can just "call their doctor", but that is not how healthcare works for most people.

The reason they are coming to the ER is because they CAN'T just "call their doctor" and say they need a PCR test right away.

Healthcare in this country is a farce.

If I have queries, I contact my doctor online and I'm no one particularly special. If its a real emergency, I'll give the fellow a call. I sure the hell wouldn't go to the ER without symptoms because of a lab result.
