There isn't any "sudden need" for multiplexed tests. We have COVID tests. We have influenza tests. They didn't say anyone NEEDED to do a multiplex test. They suggested doing it because it's better to do both at the same time rather than separate tests.

I posted this in another thread, but it's relevant here as well.

I am reading subreddit where people are posting their experience and side effects from "vaccines". Reading about these people poisoning and killing themselves at the behest of government and corporations in real time is one of the strangest things I've ever seen. What else to say but... I feel sorry for them.

One of the posters going thru the same as Vermonters from the OP are. As thousands others.

I took a rapid test this morning, but it came back negative. I have a headache, muscle aches, sore throat, and some nausea. Could it possibly be a false negative? Should I take another test? I know there's more sickness than Covid, but I am not sure where to go from here? I am fully vaccinated.

Yes. I saw a WSJ article today that said clinics, like dox-in-a-box, are closing right and left, can't get staff, because they are ill. We cannot find a dentist; I finally realized that my old dentist isn't returning calls because she badly needs to retire, and she does, too. Others are not accepting patients. Doctors are not accepting patients. Our two county hospitals have put out a public message, "Stay away! Stay away!!" The whole health system seems to be going belly-up, like the wildly dysfunctional airlines.

Authorities tried to close the churches --- it was centuries before the germ theory of contagion, but it was pretty obvious the Black Death was catching! but often couldn't. Of course the plague did spread that way in the crowded congregations, but what you gonna do.

I absolutely love your premise! Adults taking more control about their own healthcare decisions. Various medical sites offer at-home medical advice backed by trial evidence posted online.

There has to be a better way than people continuing to use the ER for minor cold symptoms that are controllable and superficial wounds. This abuse of the system has been going on for many years prior to COVID-19.

I don’t know a solution to stop ER abuse, but there has to be one that doesn’t go overboard the other way.

I am concerned as well. My post was half joking/half serious. I can see total control/no options for patients happening if leftists win the battle. The NIH, US’s governmental health overseer with a wide range of services and influence, including 27 separate institutes, is large enough. Their public rhetoric supports expanding their control over the masses.
