Not me. "Goodbye Earl" earned them my undying gratitude. And I think they had a right to their opinion.
Ya I know! I spent 20 minutes trying to find even one song I'd post here....and you know my standards are low.
(Though I did love "Three Little Lies" he he he.)

Yes, they had a right to their opinion, but I hated "Good-bye Earl" and from the moment that song came out, I have refused to listen to the Dixie Chicks. They glorified murder and laughed about it, not to mention made a fortune while doing so. My opinion is that they are disgusting.
What they said about President Bush did not change my opinion about them one iota. To be frank, I'm glad they are no longer producing music.
Miranda Lambert has made a fortune off of glorify murder too.

What is wrong with "The Ride"?

O c'mon, Immie. Lots of popular music/art/literature deals with murder. I think the world would be poorer without Agatha Christie novels and the play "Arsenic and Old Lace". I didn't hear the "Goodbye Earl" song as a call to murder...more like wish fulfillment for any woman who's ever been beat on.
One reason I like country music is that raw emotion. But I ain't about to take up heavy drinking, etc. I just like the lyrics.
Imagine how us black chicks feel, Immie.
*Winks*
I love this guy, more rockabilly than country.....

The songs from those three women are all sexist. That is nearly as bad as being racist.

And I replied:

(A joke because such ladies contend with racism and sexism....obviously a feeble joke.)
