Johnny Cash was my favorite as a teenager. I was the consummate loner then, and winter nights I would ride my bike down to the nearby "Dog and Suds" and drop the few quarters I could afford into the juke, in my own way hoping I was sharing his loneliness with others who might feel the way I did back then. As you said, "Walk the Line," but also "Folsom Prison Blues, Big River, Home of the Blues, I Still Miss Someone", and one of his last works being his best, "HURT," his magnus opus.My search turned up nada. That's hard to believe, but ah well. I know this is a huge catagory, but there's so much I love.
From Tammy Wynette to the Dixie Chicks, from Willie Nelson to Johnny Paycheck.
