The problem for criminals is that people in most rural communities in the far west and the south are armed. Innocent Black people in democrat controlled inner city areas like Chicago aren't trusted by democrats to legally arm themselves so they are targets for gang bangers. The states tax scheme is no different than a mafia protection racket. They force you to pay them money (the IRS), and then they assign some goons to your area (local PD) to defend their new source of income from a lesser group of thugs.

That really has nothing to do with being capable. Many years ago I gave a seminar on the psychology of self defense. Most people are not capable. They won't pull the trigger, they won't thrust with the knife, they won't put a 4 inch nail in someone's eye.

When I gave the seminar, it was clear that few women were capable of self defense. Today, I'm sure that more men would be just as incapable.
