The Justice Department's political persecution of those whom they do not like will be dealt a death blow by the USSC next year...too late to have any impact on the November election.

The felony of attempting to disrupt a government proceeding - probably unconstitutional on its face - has been misapplied by DoJ and various Federal Courts, resulting in "mass incarceration" of J-6 vandals, untold fines and ruined lives. The fact that the USSC has granted certiorari alone has caused knees to wobble in DC legal circles, but unfortunately the American public is probably too dimwitted to fully appreciate the outrageous DoJ conduct, so it will be forgotten relatively soon after the Court hands down its decision, many months from now.

My personal hope is that in one of his many criminal prosecutions, Our Beloved (ex)President will be allowed to make the case for why those proceedings SHOULD HAVE BEEN INTERRUPTED, to give sufficient time to examine the Leftist shenanigans in "the most secure election in American history."

Except Trump had his chance to "make his case". Recounts, audits, 65+ court cases including 3 SC cases. Way more time than he should have been allowed. And not one shred of evidence of a massive election fraud. Unfortunately, the riot that day DID disrupt a government proceeding. And that, at the end of the day, is the final argument. Happened on live TV. I watched it all.
