He yells "Gun" and everyone opens fire putting 8 bullets into the Undercover Cop....who survives...somehow

Catastrophic event resulting from lack of tactical discipline and planning.

Shit like this is what happens when police departments "lighten up" on their discipline and culture....to make a person think it's ok to show up on a high risk tactical incident when they were not part of the planning or briefing.

If I was chief I'd fire him for sure. The prosecutor can decide what to do from there.

That's what happens when you let a bunch of dumb sadistic animals play with weapons.

Just happened to one of their own for once.

For you libs....it's called "friendly fire". It's been happening amongst police and military incidents for...oh...10,000 years or so.

Human conflict involving weapons never goes perfect.

This particular case was very preventable however, and it's the lack of strict discipline in that department that caused it. That Lt should NEVER have felt it was ok or felt comfortable showing up on an operation he had no part in the planning/briefing of.
