I think it could be a lot better, it is still a system that allows the corrupt insurance industry far too much power.ACA works fine.ACA does not need to be fixed.Fix it before 2018 or suffer the consequences, that is meant for both parties. No excuses
It is working just fine now.
Wrong, but you probably can't afford the professional help.
ACA will be fine for the next 100 years.
At the least, it should be amended to allow the government to negotiate drug prices with Big Pharma as in other countries who pay a fraction for the same drugs, and to eliminate the exemption from federal anti-trust that the healthcare insurance industry enjoys.
But really we should just expand Medicare to all citizens, period. Removing healthcare insurance from employment will allow our industries to compete on more equal footing on a global scale; it will allow employees to bargain for better wages absent the fear of job loss = insurance loss; it will allow meaningful controls on healthcare costs and reduce significantly the numbers of people who become seriously ill due to lack of preventive/wellness care - thus reducing expenditures as well.
We are really very stupid for being the only developed nation that doesn't have universal healthcare. We are being played by the shareholders & CEOs of the insurance industry.
