Congress and DOJ Try To Limit Online Censorship

Twitter from what I am reading here has banned all information from Epoch Times. Any form of censorship is bad for freedom. It did me good to read that some of our elected officials are speaking out about it.

It is said that the first amendment does not apply to private companies. However, many posts and accounts are taken down at the behest of the government.

Wouldn't that be considered government censorship?

So, if we censor a group which encourages the killing of black people.... would that be "bad for freedom"? How about the freedom of black people?
