A move to refuse to serve military personnel by a Colorado hotel has some American heroes fighting mad.

Justin Vames took to Facebook on Friday night to say that attendees of a post-deployment ceremony had been treated rudely by staff at the Double Tree in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

George Soros has been trying to take over Colorado by using money. If the Double Tree doesn't respond back by giving those military service men with a free week stay? Then they are friends with Soros.

In Jefferson County, Colorado, George Soros found 'justice was not for sale'

Actually, it was the bar that refused service, not the hotel, AFTER some military guests got rowdy. The two employees responsible were fired. Not seeing a problem here.

So someone made a bad judgement call when dealing with a large, drunken crowd and lost his job over it. Happy now?

Soros, through many organizations that can be linked to him and his sons funding are very active in SWING STATES in order to turn them Blue. It has worked in CO.

Any business should retain the right of freedom of association, and hence legal protection to serve, or not serve anyone they choose. For any reason, or no reason at all...

No we are not happy yet, until they are sent to GITMO. Because that was a terrorist attack on those servicemen. How do we know that they are not on there way to the World Trade Center?

Whoever, being a proprietor, manager, or employee of a theater or other public place of entertainment or amusement in the District of Columbia, or in any Territory, or Possession of the United States, causes any person wearing the uniform of any of the armed forces of the United States to be discriminated against because of that uniform, shall be fined under this title.

To me, they deserved to get fired. Just because certain people came in and got rowdy doesn't mean that everyone else in the picture should be refused service.

God bless you and our service men and women always!!!

Why, boycott? Double Tree apologized, and fired the 2 workers that stopped them from being served in the bar... that's what the article said?
A beat down legally by the soldiers for ten minutes just breaking bones and sinew would make a good lesson.

I found the source. Yes, it was a real News Agency that some use. It was news worthy. It was also made up by a conspiracy site.

If you had bothered to just follow the links of each story, you would have come to that site. Your RWNutjobs sure do like to grab at anything that makes the other side look bad. So you win an award.

The OPs cite was linked directly back to the Conspiracy site that misrepresented the facts. I do wish that someone would post the cites that gives the real facts. It would be refreshing. Until then, this is a conspiracy and should be treated as such.

Get over it.

You didn't go far enough. But here is the real story. Even the sign was faked. There never was a sign like that on the property. It was manufactured just for the Internet.

DoubleTree hotel apologizes after posting sign refusing service to military members

The DoubleTree hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo., has fired multiple employees after they refused service to military personnel and their guests at a post-deployment celebration at the hotel.

"Two Supervisor-level employees, who have since been terminated, made poor decisions including displaying a sign that they created, which we find very offensive," Daniel Kammerer, the hotel branch's general manager, said in a statement earlier this month. "Their actions were in no way associated with the values of the hotel management."

"Their actions were in no way associated with the values of the hotel management."

"We deeply regret any offense to the service members and their guests, and have implemented a retraining of our employees to ensure this does not happen again."

The statement was posted the same day a Facebook post about the employees' actions went viral on Facebook. Justin Vames said in the post that about 600 people had come to the hotel in Colorado Springs for what was intended to be a post-deployment ceremony.

This whole thing was made up for reasons other than poor service. And 600 people showing up all at once at a Hotel? Did they all have reservations? Does the hotel have enough accommodations? That's not a crowd, that's a herd. They have 299 rooms. I doubt anyone can seriously believe with their current load they could accommodate 600 people above what they already have without blocking the streets and overflowing into the adjoining properties. I don't know about the Sillyvillians, but the Military Community that I am a member of is ashamed that this blight was every brought up and ran with. It's way beyond the Fruitcake award.

I am retired Military and see a very bad example that lends itself poorly on the rest of us. Your advice to get over it, gets you a coveted award for ...... Get ready with the Banning on this one, the Military community can handle that. Here is your award.
