With that said, at least Trump recognizes the threat China represents. The chattering class has, for far too long, ignored that threat, to the detriment of the United States and her allies

John King is wrong. Voters do not agree with John King, you or Trump. Trump's trade war will hurt BOTH economies. That is what is happening.

The difference is US manufactures can find suppliers in other countries. China on the other hand with having devalued their currency are able to purchase less from other countries.
