The MSM is carrying FJB's and the regime's water as usual by putting out this propaganda. His polling is bad on the economy, and so this shit goes up.

Turns out folks don't like being pissed on and told it's raining after all, but we'll see if that translates into votes.

And remember, Obama said that "The Suck" was the new normal. "What's Trump gonna do...wave a magic wand?" Funny how no journalist ever bothered to circle back to him for comment.

They are correct, overall prices will not go back down. The prices on somethings like milk and egg and beef might, but over all it never happens. Wages catch up and and then we do it all over again.

How can you be an adult and not know these things?

The real problem is is
GREED

For instance, 70 years ago there was a math problem where you took 30% of your salary and that was what the cost of housing should be. When you take an average of mean wages, you should come up with a fair house or apartment rental.

Not so today. Let's look at those on Social Security (old age) that can't work. They make anywhere from 1000 to 1600 every month. The problem is, the rentals will be at least 1200 for a one bedroom and up to about 2400 for a 3 bedroom. Where is the money for food/phone/tv etc.. It's not that the house and apt are really worth what they charge it's the fact they can get away with it.

Just look at gasoline prices. When oil was $75 a barrel gasoline was $3.00 a gallon.
When oil went to nearly $100 a barrel gasoline went to $4.00 a gallon almost instantly.
Oil dropped back toward $75 a barrel and gas prices only slowly came down to $3.50 a gallon.

It's no longer based on the cost of oil, but what they can get away with charging.

Prices are going up so that we can't own anything. This will make us happy. I feel bad for the wealthy because owing everything is going to make them miserable.

/——/ I recall some democRAT blaming consumers for spending too much on luxury items and driving inflation. Anyone remember who that was?

Starbucks made $24.56 billion in profits for 2023. Which means it could give each of its 400,000
employees an $11,000 raise and would still have $20
billion in profit.
But instead workers rely on tips

I guess an 8 year degree in queer studies isnt worth as much as the snowflakes expected

/----/ Well, if you're gonna lie - lie big.
Here is the truth for anyone who is interested (odanny excluded, of course)
Starbucks net income for the twelve months ending December 31, 2023 was $4.294B not 24.56 billion.
