Bill Clinton told a U.N. gathering Thursday that the global food crisis shows "we all blew it," by treating food crops "like color TVs" instead of as a vital commodity for the world's poor.

This is a very serious issue and I don't want to belittle Bill Clinton for his efforts, but I really love it when he uses "Blow or Blew" in a sentence describing a problem related to something you put in your mouth.

I managed to keep my family fed.

I call that a victory in this economy.
