The Spirit is a piece and a portion of the people in the earth. To think that there should be no interest in the governance consideration that is led by the Spirit in us and with us is utter bullshit. The founders of this nation were guided by that Spirit to create a government where the people of the nation are the determiners of their own fate and will allow governance for them by duly elected individuals of their choosing and the hiring of people who perform necessary governing functions.

The founders understood what they created was flawed which is why they placed mechanisms to change it and if need be, overthrow it. It was something not meant to last unlike what Jesus proposes.
