CLEAN debt ceiling bill passes House...end of mindless TP GOP...

KUDOS for enslaving those YET to be born? REALLY? People like YOU are part of the problem and so is this stupid OP by Franco. You applaud your own slavery, with great glee.:cuckoo:

Ah, great ... it's nice to see you righties assume the democrat platform. That's exactly what Democrats used to say when Reagan & Bush were driving up the national debt.
:clap2::clap2::clap2:

Wouldn't it be nice to be back to the national debt that Reagan and Bush created? You did seem to leave out Clinton, who ran up pretty close to the same debt that Reagan did, and Clinton did not have a recession or stagflation to deal with.

The fact that you did omit Clinton from your list of fiscal sinners pretty well demonstrates that you cheer, or howl, on cue from the DNC. You are a sheeple.

I left Clinton out since he had done a better job with deficits than most presidents. You're comparing the dollar amount borrowed between Reagan and Clinton but ignoring inflation. You're also ignoring how deficits got worse most years under Reagan while they got better almost every year under Clinton.

It's all money that's already been spent. What the hell is unconstitutional about it fcs...pretty tin foily lol...

NO, it is not money already SPENT. furture borrowing is for future expenditures. the govt cannot SPEND money until it is authorized and appropriated. It cannot be appropriated unless it is IN the treasury.

the reason you dems think raising the debt is no big deal is because you don't understand how the government works.

It got better under Clinton because he was smart enough to work with Newt and the congress to cut spending. If the dems had been in control of congress, the results would have been quite different.

90 per cent of Obama's debt was averting a full blown depression and helping the victims- but thanks for finally ending the phony crises, shytteheads...

BREAKING FOR HATER DUPES- The deficit is down to 500 billion this year and 400 of that is UE and welfare...dimwits. So get the feq out of the way...

So, in your small mind a 500 billion deficit is wonderful? Every other obama year it has been over a trillion.

His spending on stimulus, cash for clunkers, failed energy companies like solyndra, bailing out the UAW, etc did NOT avert a depression, we were not anywhere near a depression, what obama did was lengthen a small recession.

Small recession? Too much from Professor Beck for you. Not that all of porkulus was a great idea.

their dramatic calling of how Obama SAVED us from something like the great depression...and was all caused by Bush

and then when our economy is still dragging under Obama after six years and and nearly a TRILLION dollars stolen from us taxpayers and called a, stimulus, it's still Bush's fault

well, the aid to states to bridge their tax shortfalls and avoid huge layoffs and cuts in services, unemployment insurance, and increasing spending on regularly scheduled infrastructure like highways are all things republicans traditionally support in a recession. Mitt and the gop were proven flat out wrong on Detroit, and frankly so was I.

But that said, probably 20% of porkulus was just a slush fund.

The same BS talking point- we've been blamiing the mindless, brainwashed, obstructionist, DEBT CULT TP GOP for 4 years now...No phony crises and an infrastructure/jobs act and we'd be out of this Pub mess by now. Of course the Bushies wrecked the world- but YOU MORONS have stalled the recovery...duh.

6 years ago was 2008, dingbat.

Tell us how Obama had two full years of control, brainwashed tool of the greedy idiot rich. CHANGE THE CHANNEL, TRY REALITY.

You'd have a point had the deficits not been falling before Newt and the GOP had taken control of the Congress ... but alas, they were, and Newt had nothing to do with it. That means the only point you make is that you're a partisan hack who's eager to lie for the GOP Reich.

What slush fund- you mean reserve money for projects...

The liberal mind is unable to differentiate:

"flowing"

and

"tanking"
Only the truly brain-dead sycophantic zombies think the economy is tanking. It must baffle you how we can have a stock market near historic highs, a falling unemployment rate, and a GDP currently at 3.2% during a "tanking" economy.:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

How fucking baked is your brain?? Obama's been president for 5 years and 3 weeks. What fucking time warp are you in that he's been president for 6 years?

Well, I mean the "paving" which amounted to a layer of asphalt on top of crumbling roads, caulk on school windows, and street signs. In short, make work stuff that allowed county and city officials to stick a relative on the payroll for a few weeks. Dog parks too. Dog parks are good, but not really a federal function. There were always burger flipping jobs available.

Claiming the Great Recession was "small," does not actually make it small. All such a statement does is reveal you as dumb as shit.

During the Great Recession, real GDP fell 4.3%. 6½ million jobs were lost to U3 unemployment and 12½ million jobs were lost to U6 under/unemployment.

I would challenge you to find a recession with worse numbers than that since the Great Depression, but it would be a waste of time since there aren't any. The Great Recession, which you idiotically tried to dismiss as "small," was actually the worst recession since the Great Depression.

So you are ignoring the $85 Billion a month Obama was dumping into the market for the past 5 years?
