Certainly one of the toughest men to ever live, of course those who appeared in his movies had to be pretty tough as well. I imagine, doing stunts, people got hurt all the time.

did you know that our fellow poster jitts said he could kick Lees ass easily?.....he said there would be 2 sounds....his fist hitting lee and lee hitting the ground....lol....jitts..lol...
I took some Wing Chung classes under Jerry Poteet...one of Bruce Lee's students.
Jerry was about 5'5" and 130lbs....and he used me as a punching dummy.
He literally knocked the snot out of me with his one-inch punch.

I never met Bruce, but I've trained, studied and worked with people who knew him as a martial artist and actor. Bruce wanted to become the "biggest" star on the planet, and he didn't miss by much.

He and one of his students created the character and concept for a hit television show of the 1970s

Bruce was rejected for this lead; however, had he been cast and then followed up with "Enter the Dragon" two years later, he would have become the most recognizable movie star on the planet.
