This is also another example of the left's favorite "all or nothing" strawman argument. Note the phrase, "rounded up and deported". It's intended to invoke images like the Nazis raiding houses, dragging out Jews, and herding them into cattle cars to the concentration camps. They very much want to pretend that this is what is being advocated - with Mexico at the end of the ride instead of Auschwitz - and what they are fighting against. Of course, no one has even suggesting doing anything of the sort.
