So I'm watching Morning Joe and one guest asked Gov. Christie, who Mika calls a "star", "Did you really fire 20,000 people?"

The big guy said, "Yes, government workers, and we have created 15,000 private sector jobs".

So I go looking to see where the jobs were created and the only thing I find is a tunnel project that Christie cancelled and then started up again, only this time taking credit for it, and, it looks as if it's being paid for with "Stimulus Money" from Obama, of all things.

So, is this the "Republican way"? I posted a list of 114 Republican Senators and Congressmen who have publicly taken credit for "stimulus" jobs while saying the stimulus didn't lead to a single new job.

Can right wingers please explain how this works? I'm just not feeling the "love".

Reforming State GovernmentThe ChallengeFor years, New Jersey has been infamous for the corruptness and impropriety of its elected officials. As a result, the faith and confidence of all of New Jerseyans, particularly our hard working middle-class families, has been undermined.

The SolutionAs U.S. Attorney, Christie convicted over 130 corrupt elected officials, making government more honest and transparent. Governor Christie will continue to work to improve transparency, strengthen accountability, and put the taxpayer first.

Governor Christie’s approach to government reform has three key objectives:

•Eliminate the Legislature’s conflicts of interest
•Eliminate loopholes to strengthen laws banning pay to play
•Demand greater transparency and accountability in government

That's why the right wing is mystifying to me.

They seem to hate education, only 6% of scientists are Republican, yet, they insist they know how to "make it better" which includes "mystical creation", which of course, would make it worse. Not to mention their high drop out rate.

They hate government yet want to run it.

They complain about spending money, but explode the deficit every time they are in power.

They insist they follow a "peaceful Christ", but go on and on about bombing this country or that.

What they say they want and what they actually do are polar opposites. They want America strong, but weaken it worse than al Qaeda ever could.
