The quotas regulating the numbers of LEGAL immigrants allowed to enter the USA are done by the Democrats and Republicans - due to the MAGA incited hysteria - those numbers are far too low. As such those "rejected" immigrants from e.g. China in vast majority ain't less smart or qualified then these "accredited" migrants. It is only upon their visa applications being rejected - that they eye onto "illegally"entering the USA.

And US customs and border patrol "registered the ENCOUNTER" with around 30,000 Chinese nationals - nowhere is it stated that 30,000 Chinese entered the USA illegally.

Obviously, this boy's background would have raised suspicions at the border. His dad is a high-ranking CCP official who can afford to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for his son's education. Chinese students and scholars are required to spy for Beijing when they are asked to do so.

There were cases that Chinese students or scholars were caught spying for the Chinese government in the US. But some faced false accusations.
