There is NO WAY to reconcile the difference. They are incompatible. Collision inevitable. We are seeing that today.

They will never stop seeking to empower government and turn over control of lives to the state.
Those who value freedom, choice and liberty will have to be extremely vigilant to protect their rights. Failure to do so will result in an eventual decay and move towards totalitarianism.
Unfortunately, freedom is not a balanced state....subjugation is therefore it takes more work to maintain freedom in the human state. Those failing to put in the effort to preserve freedom are bound to lose it.
