My recollection of 1965 is that 15% of Americans were black and about 17% were Lagtinos/American Indians/other. I could be wrong, but that's my recollection, as imperfect as it may be.

The school says the boys were told they could not dress as gingerbread men because no gingerbread men songs were choosen, and the school can't surve gingerbread cookies because some of the children are allergic, so they saw no point in including the gingerbread man costume.
