I'm not. If it is a food desert in the city, it is probably because of unrestrained theft, making it unprofitable to operate and unsafe for employees. The city owned will have the same problem if problem not fixed, plus it is bound to get burned down any time the locals have a new grudge to riot about.

The city is supposed to make a good environment for business, not go into socialist government owned business.
But, that's just me, 800 miles away.

They boldly walk in, fill their shopping carts with meat, and walk out. And the employees are not allowed to intervene.

This is a problem all around the country.
