Suing for at least $50,000. Most people would sue for 10 million. And they'd sue the batter too.

Chicago man sues Cubs, MLB after foul ball leaves him blind in one eye

oct 9 2017 CHICAGO – A 60-year-old Illinois man who says he's a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan is now imploring the team and Major League Baseball to immediately install more nets protecting fans in crowds after he was hit in the face by a ball in August, causing him to immediately go blind in one eye.

John "Jay" Loos, 60, filed a personal injury lawsuit on Monday claiming the league was negligible during the August 29 Cubs vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game, when he was hit by an errant ball and left severely injured.

Loos has since undergone several surgeries and risks also losing vision in his good right eye. His son, Adam, said he saw the ball coming and tried to shield his father – but it happened too quickly for anyone to react, he said.

Loos is seeking at least $50,000 in damages. He also urges the MLB to install netting all the way down the foul line in stadiums because he believes this will happen again.

yep. Deep Pockets. note: A few loons sued Trump after they could not find a job in Obamas' struggling economy. Trump has money. The 1000s' of other Graduates did not consider suing.

The only way to stop this stuff is ................ Loser pays the bill. Think twice before you FILE.

That said..........MLB players are so big and strong.........they throw bats in the stands....hit rockets. They have to install a net or something? Dugouts too. They are killing fields. Pitches are 100MPH...hits take off at 110MPH. Little girls/boys/wives are sitting ducks eating cotton candy, not even watching. Playing with the cellphone.

Just 50 grand? After lawyers and taxes what does he get, like 8 grand??????? Seems a waste of time.

He should use his good eye to read the back of the ticket

A lot of fans don't want the netting since they want to catch the foul balls. What's the team to do.?
