Great. So perhaps you can help me out here. I'm at a loss. Why did the police pull back? Why did they not keep the competing protesting groups separate? That is what is usually done during these things isn't it?

There are a couple possible explanations. One the police are cowards. That kind of goes against the heroes in blue and thin blue line narrative. But if the police were cowards, then wouldn't the Mayor and the Governor be out there screaming that their orders were ignored and they told the police to stay and keep the groups from coming into contact?

Option two, the police response was either planned, or ordered. Why would it be ordered? I mean, there were enough people there with emotions running very high that the threat of violence was obvious. I mean we all heard going into this thing that the National Guard was on alert, and ready to come in. But why would the police pull back if the State was prepared for violence?

So tell me, what are the true facts? Why did the police stand down? If it was so dangerous for the Police, why wasn't the National Guard sent in? They were prepared weren't they? Or was that just nonsense and propaganda to try and keep the participants in line under the threat, the bluff of National Guard action?
