Charlie Crist commits (political) suicide!

Crist the Quitter..

Actually, he's refusing to quit the race even when its clear he can't be the GOP nominee. Its the opposite of quitting. Perhaps you should check out Palin for a definition of quitting?

On a serious note: This is an interesting result. It shows the growing rift in the GOP between the moderates and centrists and the Tea Party supporters.

he's quitting his party, he is a govenor,, he was elected as a Republican govenor.. he should give back the money..

LOL. He won't. And more power to him. Be funnier than hell if an independent beat the Republican using Republican money:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Time to start a fund for crying tissue for ol' Willow:razz:

isn't he still governor? Unlike a certain someone else?

not a republican govenor it would seem, the asshole needs to pay back all the money.. All the money... He's a liar which makes him a perfect demonrat.

Ironically, Charlie is still the Republican governor of Florida.

Under Florida law a candidate can run as a "no party affiliation", or NPA but doesn't have to change their party registration.

Yep, more Republicans gone after 2010:eek:

Actually, it's possible that some Republican incumbents might get their asses handed to them, particularly in the primaries.

That said, bear in mind that Republicans, with small exception, have held the line against Obama's commie policies. In the general, I think they'll do well because of it. Of course, there are MORE incumbents to unseat in the Democrat majority as well.

Now... run along and go get teabagged, since you seem to have some pervy preoccupation with "teabaggers". Maybe if you go ahead and get some big, hairy balls on your chin... you'll be less obsessed with the notion and be able to actually add some substance to your posts. Mind you, there's substance and then there's substance. Don't bring back anything... er... sticky.

In PRINCIPLE,

shouldn't sincere Tea Partiers be praising Charlie Crist if he runs as an independent? Isn't that kind of stepping outside the 2 party 'monopoly' what Tea partiers admire?

oh I'm not crying, it's good riddance. to crist.. he's gonna get his azz handed to him. he won't be govenor or senator. he's a wormy little bastich.

Hows that "Lets drive moderates from the Republican Party" stuff work'n for ya??

Yup, he's asking the WH for help in defeating Rubio. Maybe Obama will work his charm like he did in NJ, VA and MA!

"2. Here first: Charlie Crist, soon to be independent Senate candidate from Florida, tried to reach White House chief of staff Emanuel through intermediates. WH refuses to take the call. Dems plan big talent/money blitz for Kendrick Meek. BTW: Obama's approval rating in FL is in high 40s, per internal Dem polling."

Question is with which party would Crist, the traitor, caucus.
