There was little appetite for Islamic extremism in the 1950s when women in the West were kept to the kitchen and family and forced to wear modest clothing and divorce was relatively rare. It is the reaction to the growth and spread of Western feminist culture over the past 40 years that has changed Islamic countries from places where even head-scarves were becoming rare to places where women are entombed in fabric. Extreme Islam is a reaction to feminism."

ma'am the ones who actually die for their cause or neither cowards nor brave. They are ignorant. You could no more call a child brave for touching an open flame if all he's ever heard in his life is "the flame won't burn you."

I was referencing Muslims who beat their wives when I said they are cowards. In actuality not all Muslim men beat their wives. Those who are just living their lives are no more cowardly or brave than the rest of us.
